Edda Casanova, MD, graduated from San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in 1980, after which she completed her Psychiatry Residency from Bergen Regional Medical Center in New Jersey and completed her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship with the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. Dr. Casanova is Board Eligible for Psychiatry. With over 4 decades of experience, Dr. Casanova currently holds her medical license in 3 states and Puerto Rico. She has served as Medical Director of several facilities, including SAAFE Health Services, LLC in Deland, Florida, Serenity Springs Recovery Center in Edgewater, Florida; Prince William Hospital in Manassas, Virginia and the Puerto Rico Psychiatric Correctional Hospital, a168 bed facility in Puerto Rico. Dan Bodnar MCAP, ICADC, CMHC, has a unique background of over 42 years of experience in Medical and Mental Health Services. Dan has been involved in the opening of several new facilities and spearheaded many critical programs over the years. Dan’s experience includes serving as the Counseling Department Director, Rivendell Psychiatric Hospital, an 80 bed Psychiatric Hospital in Vero Beach, FL, where he worked on Hiring of Clinical Staff, implementing P&P of the Counseling Department, and meeting the Licensure Standards for the State of FL Mental Health Services. Psycho-Educational Therapist at Devereux Psychiatric Hospital, Melbourne, FL, a 120 bed Psychiatric Hospital, where he Designed & Implemented a Behavioral Modification Program for Severely Emotionally Disturbed Adolescents. Director of Adult Brain Injury Program, Sea Pines Rehabilitation Specialty Hospital in Melbourne, FL, where he worked to start a Pediatric & Adolescent Brain Injury Program. Chief Operations Office at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Reno, Nevada, where he oversaw the Start Up and Operations of an 80 bed Medical & Physical Rehabilitation Specialty Hospital, including the hiring and supervision of the Clinical Department Directors. Jim Cassidy currently leads Preposterous Holdings, a private equity firm based in Asheville, North Carolina. Jim is known for enabling great leaders and providing capital efficient growth strategies. Having worked with companies ranging from multinational corporations to local businesses, Jim is actively involved in all phases of a company’s life cycle. He lends his experience to numerous companies helping them from inception to acquisition. Throughout his career Jim has been heavily involved in the healthcare industry, specifically in the addiction treatment and recovery field, in the roles of executive management, board member, investor, owner, and advisor. Jim’s past roles include: Former Investor and Advisor at Rosewood Centers for Eating Disorders in Wickenburg, AZ; Former co-owner, Board Member, and Executive Director at the Palm Beach Institute in Palm Beach, FL; Former Co-owner, Board Member at Aim House in Boulder, CO; Former Board Member at High Watch Recovery Center in Kent, CT; – Former Board Member at Father Martin’s Ashley in Havre de Grace, MD; Former Board Member at the International Institute for Alcoholism Education and Training in Greenwich, CT; and Former Board Member at the Meridian Center/Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council in Stamford, CT.
